Go native! These are beautiful right now with their grey foliage and graceful stems,
the tiny flower buds bring the promise of their real draw.
The white berries are highly decorative through fall and winter,
though not toxic, they are not tasty to birds or humans.
Native to the Pacific Northwest it naturally colonizes on dry slopes
preventing erosion.
Snowberry is often planted after Himalayan blackberry
removal because it has a strong root system and is one of the few plants that
can compete with Himalayan blackberry.
It does not spread aggressively however.
At 15% off these are $24.59 this week for a #5 pot.
