flowers this time of year! The Purple Leaf Sand Cherry is a true low maintenance shrub.

It isn’t picky about soil or moisture, so long as it isn’t planted in boggy soil.</p>

<p>The purple leaves make a nice accent shrub for a garden that doesn’t have enough contrast

in foliage colors, and looks particularly vibrant planted with some Spirea or ornamental

grasses at its base. Unlike some purple shrubs that turn green in summer heat Purple

||
Leaf Sand Cherry stays purple, and has red fall color.</p>
