Autumn Joy Sedum is a favorite standby of cottage and xeriscape gardeners alike.
Its hard to get such a riot of late summer/fall color
without requiring a lot of water and maintenance.

Flower buds are soft pink, open to hot pink, and in fall they turn rusty orange.
Autumn Joy Sedum will spread up to 3 feet wide, and makes a nice evergreen mat.

Autumn Joy sedum is also easy to divide if you want a spreading
ground cover for a sunny spot. Combine Autumn Joy sedum with ornamental
grasses and rudebeckia for a gorgeous fall display.
