Weve been watching this plant since fall when its leaves turned a rich crimson color,
we continue to watch because it didnt drop its leaves like the other fall beauties did.
It has even held its color and leaves better than its famous cousin Little Henry Sweetspire.

Scentlandia wasnt selected for its fall/winter color,
it was selected as the most fragrant Sweetspire with the largest flowers.
Nothing is more wonderful in a summer bouquet than these graceful, cascading flowers.
Scentlandia is a versatile shrub that thrives in both substantial shade and full sun.

It tolerates our wet soils well, and is ideal on the edge of a wooded area.
It grows 2-3 tall and wide and requires little pruning.
For a true showstopping winter landscape combine the Scentlandia sweetspire with red or yellow twig dogwood.
