The new introduction from the Endless Summer line of hydrangeas Bloomstruck has us starstruck.
These richly colored blooms are more vibrant than the original Endless Summer Hydrangea.
Bloomstruck has the added benefit of vibrant red stems and rich dark
green leaves which give this old garden favorite a longer season of interest,
and modern twist to grandma
’s garden favorite.
The Bloomstruck hydrangea is a more heat tolerant mophead hydrangea,
therefore more versatile in your garden design.
Like all mophead hydrangeas the color of the flower varies with the acidity of the soil.
Our soil in the PNW tends to be acidic to neutral, which will make these beauties blue to purple colored.
The soil we use at our farm is alkaline, so the flowers are currently brilliant pink.
