Butterfly Blue Pincushion flower is known for being the most floriferous of the Scabiosa family.
We have been enjoying them particularly this spring because
our crop of propagated liners is half blue and half hot pink.
The stems on the Butterfly blue are 12-18” tall so they
make a nice addition to a cut flower arrangement,
but the plants themselves are low to the ground,
for a nice front of the border punch of color,
or some nice color to pop up behind some low grasses
or sedum to provide a longer season of interest.
Pincushion flowers are drought tolerant,
and will produce copious flowers in both full sun and part shade.
Butterfly Blue Pincushion flower brings the pollenators to the yard too.
At 15% off this week the Butterfly blue are only $7.61 this week.
