Beyond Midnight Bluebeard is not only one of the bluest flowers available,
it blooms in the late summer/through fall when most other flowers are spent,
or are rusty yellows and reds. Beyond Midnight is a sturdy fall sub-shrub
that looks fantastic contrasted with the bright colors of coneflower,
the rustic colors of sedums, and placed in front of tall fall grasses.

Beyond Midnight makes a 2.5 tidy ball in the garden, and loves warm, dry spots.
This is a true late bloomer, and will push new growth later in spring.
It makes a good companion for spring bulbs;
you can have some color while waiting for Beyond Midnight to put on its vibrant show.

What a great way to perk up your fall yard with something more drought
tolerant than a plant you may have lost in this years hot, dry summer.
