Double Play Big Bang Spirea-We love spirea at this time of year,
the new growth is always as colorful as a bouquet of flowers,
usually in pinks, reds, oranges, and sometimes lime.
Walking the fields right now,
one spirea stands out for the most neon colors of orange and hot pink.
The leaves of Double Play Big Bang turn a nice lime green for the summer,
and bloom large, bright pink flowers.
In the fall the foliage turns a breathtaking orange,
for a three season plant with bigger bang for your buck!
Double Play Big Bang spirea grows 2

maintains its color best in part sun to part shade,
and is very drought tolerant when established.
Like all spireas, if you cut back after blooming the new foliage is colorful again,
and they will rebloom.
